Of English origin and with just fabulous feet, the stool is covered in period needlepoint with neat birds and flowers. Some minor repairing at the top of a leg but the feet remain perfect and original. Wood is rosewood and it measures 7 1/2" high and the top is 13 1/2" x 10 1/2". Measuring 4" high x 14 1/2" diameter, what a perfect piece for the center of a table. The wood looks like a form of burl with a nicely formed foot. There are some burn marks from either the hearth and/or a candle and if you look closely there is a crack on one side. It is Scandinavian and 19th Century. $160.00 RUSH CANDLEHOLDER
